


Rochester City Pool
701 E 6th Street in Rochester, Indiana
The Rochester City Pool is located on the northeast side of Rochester bordering the Round Barn Golf Club course. The outdoor pool provides recreational opportunities for the community.
The pool shares parking with the golf course driving range and four new well maintained pickleball courts. The complex contains a large pool. Concessions, changing rooms and restroom facilities are available. There is also a renovated event room available to rent for private parties. The pool will generally not open if the temperature is below 70 degrees.
Regular hours are Monday through Saturday from 11:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M., and Sunday from Noon to 7:00 P.M. Admission for open swim is $5.00 per person, with children ages 0–3 admitted free when accompanied by a paying adult. Season passes are available for $45 per individual, or a family season pass at $40 per person for those living in the same household. All passes are non-transferable, and family passes are intended for use by the immediate family only, including mother, father, and children. Open through August 16th.
SWIM LESSONS
These lessons provide a positive introduction to the water while reinforcing lifelong safety habits and physical confidence. Our goal is to create a fun and encouraging experience where children feel comfortable in the pool, build trust in their abilities, and improve their swimming skills over time.

Water Aerobics
Join Heather McGriff every Monday and Wednesday at 7 PM for Water Aerobics, a fun, low-impact workout that helps improve flexibility, fitness, and overall wellness. Water Aerobics will continue through August 12.
Open to the public, and participants should be prepared to actively participate in class. A suggested $5 donation helps support the Rochester City Pool, and any additional contributions are greatly appreciated. Registration is not required.

PRIVATE PARTIES
The Rochester City Pool is available for private parties from 7:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M., with the exception of July 4th. To reserve a private party, please call the pool office. Rates are $150 for groups under 30 people and $300 for groups over 30 people. In addition, the pool offers a party room rental during regular pool hours for $25 per hour plus $4 per swimmer.
Pool General Rules and Policies
For the safety of all guests, lifeguards have the final authority on pool operations and participation. Safety decisions are not based on judging an individual, but on ensuring that all pool rules, equipment guidelines, and safety procedures are followed. Participants who exceed equipment limitations, do not follow lifeguard instructions, or create unsafe conditions may be asked to modify their activity or leave the pool area. These decisions are made solely to protect the safety and well-being of everyone at the facility.

Swimsuits are required; no street or gym clothing

Obey the lifeguards

No running on the deck

Do not push, fight, jump on, or dunk other swimmers

No throwing hard objects (such as tennis balls and footballs)

No litter on the deck

Fins, masks, rafts, and large floating toys are prohibited in the pool during open swim hours

No diving from the sides

Floatation devices (wings, vests, seats, etc) are not to be used past the first black line, and only under adult supervision

Children must stay behind the red line during rest periods (ten minutes each hour)

Adults may swim during the rest period and may be accompanied by their small children (under age 6)

Street shoes are not be worn on the deck

Vulgar or intimidating language will not be tolerated

No rain check or pass outs

The pool and its staff are not responsible for lost or stolen items

This park facility is for swimming only; unauthorized loitering will not be tolerated
Diving Well Policy
-
Large persons have an increased risk of hitting the bottom
-
Only one bounce is permitted before the dive
-
Do not dive past the ladders as the floors slope up
-
Swim directly to an exit ladder after the dive
-
Sailor dives (head first with hands to the sides) are not permitted
-
Dives where the diver approaches in the forward position and turns before take-off are not permitted
-
Seat drops are not permitted
-
Difficult competitive dives will be permitted by experienced divers only

Diving from the sides and swimming in the deep end will be permitted by guard discretion when the boards are not in use
