City Pool Ribbon Cutting

🌟 Blog Post: A Successful Ribbon Cutting and Big News for the Pool 🌟

The Rochester Park & Recreation Department is thrilled to share the excitement and gratitude following a very special event in our community.

On Friday, June 20, we celebrated the official Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at the Rochester City Pool with the Fulton County Chamber of Commerce, marking not just the opening of our 2025 pool season, but also the launch of a revitalized space for families and residents to enjoy all summer long. The event was a wonderful success, with community members, supporters, and local leaders joining us to recognize this important milestone.

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the celebration so memorable. Your presence and continued support mean the world to us.

As if the opening excitement wasn’t enough, we’re thrilled to announce a major enhancement coming soon to the Rochester City Pool: a rock climbing wall! Thanks to a generous $20,000 grant from the Northern Indiana Community Foundation, we will be adding a new aquatic climbing feature that will offer fun, fitness, and challenge for swimmers of all ages. We are beyond grateful to the Foundation for their belief in our mission and investment in the recreational experiences of Rochester residents.

The Rochester City Pool is now officially open for the season, with daily hours from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Whether you’re stopping by for open swim, relaxing by the poolside, or looking forward to trying the new climbing wall when it’s installed, we invite you to make the most of summer with us!
