Jaycee Park Improvement Update

Rochester Park & Recreation continues to make progress on improvements at Jaycee Park.

The Park Board recently approved plans to explore expanding the concrete pad at the existing small pavilion. Rather than replacing the current structure, the goal is to increase the usable gathering space to better accommodate families, community groups, and park visitors. Funding for the project may come from proceeds raised through the annual Swing for the Parks Golf Scramble fundraiser.

Staff is awaiting the start of restroom improvements later this month and will also be obtaining updated quotes for planned parking lot improvements as work continues to move forward on the park enhancement project.
